XERF Radiofrequency Skin Treatment
Now Available at Ageless Clinics
Ageless Clinics is proud to introduce XERF to our Bondi Junction clinic.
Ageless Clinics is the first clinic in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs to offer XERF.
XERF is a radiofrequency-based cosmetic procedure performed in a clinical setting. It uses monopolar RF energy delivered through the skin surface, with treatment settings selected according to the individual’s skin characteristics, treatment area and clinical assessment.
Our clinic provides consultations about XERF. During consultation, a practitioner will assess your concerns, review your medical history and discuss whether XERF, another cosmetic procedure, or no procedure may be appropriate for you.
Any change in appearance, and how noticeable it is, varies between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.
What Is XERF?
XERF uses multi-frequency monopolar radiofrequency energy delivered through the skin surface.
The technology is designed to deliver RF energy to selected tissue depths, with settings chosen according to the treatment area and individual assessment. This may include discussion of deeper skin support and collagen-related activity over time.
XERF may be discussed in relation to collagen and elastin-related activity in selected tissue layers. Published research on a XERF device has reported tissue changes without undesirable fat volume loss; however, individual responses vary and this cannot be guaranteed.
A consultation is required to assess whether XERF may be appropriate for your individual circumstances.
What May Be Discussed in Consultation
We know that changes in skin support and firmness are a natural part of life. We also understand that some people may wish to discuss options that address the appearance of these changes.
For suitable individuals, consultation may address concerns relating to:
the appearance of skin support
the appearance of skin firmness
the appearance of facial or neck contours
the appearance of skin texture
These concerns are assessed during consultation to determine whether XERF, another cosmetic procedure, or no procedure may be appropriate.
How Treatment Planning Works
During consultation, your practitioner will:
review your medical history, medications and relevant health information
examine the treatment area and skin characteristics
discuss your concerns and expectations
explain the possible procedure, its limitations and alternative options, including choosing not to proceed
If considered appropriate, XERF may be performed using radiofrequency energy delivered through the skin surface.
Treatment planning, including the treatment area, settings and number of sessions, is determined after consultation and clinical assessment.
In some cases, your practitioner may recommend an alternative approach, a more conservative option, medical review, or no procedure.
